Gizem Bacaksizlar Turbic\u00a0holds a PhD in Software and Information Systems from the College of Computing and Informatics at UNC Charlotte (2019). Her research areas include complex adaptive systems and social and political networks. She studies the effects of social influence on political behavior and group dynamics.
